Why objects appear colorful ?

Whatever we see from our eye appears colourful because there is only one reason which is if a object appears red it means it absorb all the light and reflect only red light. One who is watching that object will see the object in the colour, which that object reflects.

Example: Rose looks red because it reflects red light and absorb all the othe light.
