3) Much easier in the maintenance of the software. Intranet software required only to be installed onto the server; this eliminates the trouble of fixing and re-installing the software on the client side.
 
4) Cheaper in terms of buying vendor software, since the intranet software requires only to be installed on the server.
 
5) One only needs to buy the software needed for the server.
 
6) Easier in upgrading and troubleshooting the problems.
